Verse 1
The Spirit of the living God
Our comforter, forever with us
The Spirit of the living God
Our counsellor, forever with us
Spirit of truth,
Unseen by the world
Yet known to us
Our standby and guide
Forever with us
Chorus
Our strengthener
Our ever present help
There’s no friend like you, Lord
The Father’s precious gift
You beautified our lives
With your indwelling presence
For your pleasure and your praise
Verse 2
The Spirit of the living God
You are the One
Interceding through us
With ever burning passion
For your kingdom
We pray in wordless groans
Chorus
Our strengthener
Our ever present help
There’s no friend like you, Lord
The Father’s precious gift
You beautified our lives
With your indwelling presence
For your pleasure and your praise
You beautified our lives
With your indwelling presence
For your pleasure and your praise
