Verse 1
Jesus, Son of the living God
Gloriously You'll be standing high up in the clouds
Hallelujah, we’re going up to be with You, Lord
Lord Jesus, You clothed us with eternal light
In a moment, You'll change our bodies in one flight
Saints ascending singing the Spirit's song
Verse 2
Lord Jesus, Son of the living God
Gloriously, You'll descend from heaven with a shout
Hallelujah, we’re going up to be with You, Lord
Lord Jesus, when You summon us, at the last trump
We will hear
And in the twinkling of an eye;
We'll be ascending praising in the Spirit's tongue
Chorus 1
And on that day when we will rise
To meet You, Saviour, in the skies
We will go to the place where You’ve prepared for us
And be with You forevermore.
